Our Future 2022

The Summer of 2022 was the first year of the Our Future (Summer) Programme.

The theme for this year was Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

163 applications were received from young people across Southwark.

8 young people were selected and their group was named the ‘Amazing Eight’.

The Our Future students for 2022 were Hameedah, Adam, Sadr, Shannae, Nelio, Jie, Adelina and Esther.

Our Future 2022 was supported by a number of companies and organisations who organised bespoke workshops for the young people.

The workshops provided an insight into their industry and how Equity, Diversity and Inclusion plays a role in their organisation or business.

The programme culminated in an evening event hosted by WPP, which the young adults played a key role in organising, with individual presentations by The Amazing Eight, a screening of a short-film they’d produced and special guest performances to an invited audience of local businesses, families and friends.
